The property sits on 1/2 acre of gardens, brick walks and stone hearth. You can walk/bike/bus (free bus) to campus, parking around the block (300 ft) with street permit. We are an empty nest academic couple living above. There is an occupied apt also, adjacent. Sorry, we allow no pet or smoking, and no loud music. The room has a bed, desk, closet, drawers, shelves, dorm size frig (no freezer), and bathroom with shower, no access to rest of house/apt, no shared living space, no access to cooking facilities, no kitchen privilege. There is a window looking out into greenery. Rental rate of $390/month includes water, gas, and electricity [with AC] (you pay for your own phone and internet), yearly lease. Parking with permit is provided on side street (300ft) only. We are seeking quiet, responsible, SINGLE PERSON OCCUPANCY only (no exception).

Ideal for one who may have family nearby. Deposits and references are required. TO GET A RESPONSE, please state your situation, profession, and anything else you can share about yourself. If you are a student, please give department and year. Must have valid proof of UNC registration.
