Though this place looks nice and modern, the management team is arrogant and unhelpful.
When I first applied for a unit, the website listed the move-in date as August 1, so I selected that date and paid the required fees. Later, they told me the date on the website was wrong and that I would have to wait another 10 days. They initially refused to compensate me for their mistake and even suggested that I stay at a friend’s place. After I told them I no longer wanted to lease there, they finally agreed to cover the rent for those 10 days. That should have been my warning sign to leave.
After moving in, I realized the walls were paper-thin. When residents report noise issues, management just blames them for being too sensitive. They also ignore reports of trash and dog waste in the garage and elevators. Don’t be fooled by the promotional pricing—once it’s time to renew, the rent increases far more than you’d expect.
Overall, this place feels deceptive, and it has been the worst leasing experience I’ve ever had.

Quantity over Quality
The final product of this complex exposes the many shortcuts taken in the process of planning and construction. The bad quality does not meet the price point. Crowne refuses to make corrections for the sake of being cheap and greedy.
Garage:
The parking garage is dangerous. There are no safety parameters put in place. You are taking a risk driving and parking in it. The garage is filled with many blind spots. The first blind spot is the entrance/exit itself. It is extremely narrow. Also, there is only one way in and one way out of the garage. You can't see around any corners in the garage. Even with slow driving speeds (which patrons tend not to do) it remains unsafe. There are no cameras, speed bumps, or mirrors. Management said they were getting quotes. That was months ago, and there are no signs of anything coming to fruition.
For garage security they opted for the cheapest and bargain dump of a system called Cellgate. After entering the passcode the rollup door stays up for way too long. Piggybacking happens all the time. I strongly recommend dash cams for liability and car security.
They opted for a less than stellar drainage system, so when it rains there are leaks and puddles all over the garage. You can see (and smell) it on the walls of the emergency exit hallway. And since there is always trash on the ground in the garage--that makes matters even worse. There is a trash compactor on every garage parking level, but people opt to leave their Bojangles, PDQ, and McDonalds on the ground instead. Rats, anyone?
Elevators:
No elevator gives you direct access to all amenities. You have to walk across the garage to take a different elevator. Crowne believes that 1 elevator for a 5 floor residency is sufficient. Hopefully there are never any emergencies here.
Mail:
Mailboxes are outside. Packages are mishandled, misplaced, and lost all the time. The Amazon Hub is often misused by mail carriers.
Gym:
The last time I used it the ac/fans weren't working, so they installed a mister(?) to help alleviate the bad smell which only created an even worse smell. It has a good amount of equipment for an apartment, but its unorganized.
Units:
So many flaws. Window screens not fitted properly, bad airflow or no airflow at all, thin walls and thin flooring, very hard flooring under carpet, etc.
