Walk2UNC Furnished Apt for Male UNC Grad School/Law Student

Available starting August 1, 2025 for minimum of one year lease (ending July 30 2026) with the option to renew in one year increments thereafter - with this below-market rent rate locked in.

The actual move in /move out dates may be flexible by a...
few days, however shorter leases not considered —- intent is to maintain leases on the Aug to July academic calendar

The private, separate and fully furnished apartment is located in the beautiful Chapel Hill historic district —- you can actually walk everywhere on campus from this 1932-built house. (Oh, and please note this listing will be deleted when apt is rented - so if you’re reading this post then “Yes” the apt is available)
This one-person-only apt comes with one parking space (behind the house) and has its own private entrance from its own private balcony overlooking East Franklin Street.
The second-level entry door opens to a living area with a compact kitchenette (limited sized appliances are due to the limits of 1932-era electrical service), a full bath with tub-shower including a window overlooking woods, a separate bedroom with a spacious desk, plus there is a shared laundry in basement for all three UNC student-tenants.
Rent of $950 month plus a fixed year round rate of $200 per month for all utilities (wifi, electric, natural gas, city water/sewer, trash/recycling, and yard service) is a non-weather fluctuating bargain.
Note this campus-close apartment has been rented to male UNC grad students (and the occasional exceptionally mature male upperclassman/ undergrad) for 25+ years. Sorry but no smoking, no pets, no roommates/spouses, and sorry but no text contact offered (due to spammers), so please do reply by email With Details About Yourself including your UNC program, a link to your CV/Linkedin or similar, your move in and your expected move out time table, and your cell number —- and the property owner will happily respond promptly to answer all of your questions not already answered in this loooong posting! Thanks for your interest and welcome to world's greatest college town!

(Okay, by popular demand here are a few more details: the location is on East Franklin St and directly across from Park Place, where there is a free campus bus stop —- and it’s especially convenient to the UNC Law School and the central campus area. This apartment has been rented most often to male law school, MBA, and PhD grad students for two-year to five-year leases, which is how the property owner can afford to offer such a low monthly cost - — due to the low turnover.
There are four apts total in the house and there are no shared living spaces other than the basement laundry. The surrounding historic district residential neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and the successful tenant applicant will likewise be mature, quiet, amicable — at home (after all, both campus and town are steps away for essential rowdy socializing)
Location really is so close in-town and campus as to not require a car —- the apartment has very often been rented to international grad students without US drivers licenses/cars.
If interested, remember to please EMAIL with your specific details —- and please note those who do not provide the requested information will not be contacted (due to the below market rental rate value, there are just too many unqualified inquiries for the property owner to reply to those who do not qualify based on this stated criteria and requested info) However the owner will cheerfully reply if you provide details demonstrating your circumstances do fit —- Thanks again for your interest, and best of luck in your apartment search in the world’s best college town!💙🐏
