The Student Exchange House - Hassle Free Short Term Furnished Rooms Near Duke

Coming to Duke for a short time? Consider staying at the Student Exchange House with other international and U.S. graduate students and visiting faculty. Our houses are fully furnished -- no need to buy anything, not even sheets and towels or pots and pans. We'll even pick you up at the airport if our schedule allows. We usually rent by the semester (with an option to renew) but are happy to work with shorter term rentals of 2-3 months as well. Our hope is that each household will create a diverse community of graduate students in from different countries and different schools.

Our five bedroom house on Sprunt Ave has private bedrooms ranging in price from $740 to $840. Residents share the kitchen, living room, laundry areas and 2 bathrooms. The monthly rent includes all utilities, including wi-fi. The house is in a safe neighborhood about a 12-15 minute bike ride (2 miles) from Duke Chapel. The free LaSalle Loop Duke Bus has a stop a an 8-minute walk away. A small shopping center with a good grocery store is a 5 minute walk away. The city bus is also easily accessible. We provide a few bikes for rent on a first-come-first-served basis.
