During a renovation in 2007, Morrison – or Mo-Town as residents call it –... received many new features that make it unique compared to any other hall on campus. The renovation included the installation of solar panels and real-time energy consumption monitors, as well as rewiring for energy efficiency to make it the only “green” residence hall.
Also, the top three floors were converted into SuperSuites – an extremely popular floor plan where six residents share a bathroom and a common living area.
Morrison is attractive to residents who love south campus but want to shorten their daily walk to class by a few minutes. Morrison is located just steps away from the Rams Head Center which includes a dining hall, market, gym, and Starbucks.
