Entire second floor of house; private entrance, beautiful views, easy connections to Rts 40, 85, 86

The second floor of my house in Fiori Hill, near the intersection of Rts 86 and 70 Business, is configured as a separate private residence. It has its own entrance at the north side of the house. The approximately 820 sq foot space has great natural... light.

It consists of a large living/dining area and a kitchenette (with small kitchen sink, microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, Keurig coffeemaker, built-in mini-fridge, and hot plate); a bathroom with shower and an adjoining closet featuring shelves and hanging rods; and a bedroom with an adjoining 100 sq ft closet/study/dressing room. The latter features a beautiful view onto Eno River State Park land. A walk-in attic off the bedroom and a conditioned, dry crawl space offer storage (shared with owner).

The north lawn of the house can be used as a private outdoor sitting area. Steps away, hiking trails along the Eno abound, and a lovely 20-minute walk brings you to the Weaver Street Market in downtown Hillsborough—and the rest of Hillsborough’s charms. It's less than 10 minutes to UNC-Hillsborough hospital, about 20 to UNC or Duke.

The apartment is fully furnished including a big screen TV with many streaming services; 1 gig high speed internet; leather couch/ottoman; double bed; large chest of drawers; and more. Rent is $850 plus 1/3 of water and electricity; the latter is supplied by solar panels so power bills are very low. Monthly cleaning service included. Tenant can use owner's washer/dryer weekly on request.

Renters must be single (no couples), and fastidiously clean and quiet. Owner/occupant is 75 year-old retired professor. No pets or parties. Ideal for grad student or med school resident. References required. Contact Robert Entman [email removed].
