I have been so stressed about finding an apartment for my daughter to move into on short notice after finding out her initial housing plans fell through. The staff at Carolina Square has been awesome helping us get everything sorted out. Every time I call the office with new questions and Merrin and Carlos are so patient. Thank you!!!!

Live here if you are prepared to be mistreated, underappreciated, and given random charges. The staff is very hit or miss. Mostly miss. Abysmal at best. Different staff members give different answers to the same question. We had to go to them three different times to get our lease fixed. The when getting our second lease the problem wasn’t fixed. After informing them the mistake was still there they said it was fine without even rereading the lease. On move in day, I went to them and highlighted... where in the lease the problem remained. Only then, did we receive a corrected lease. We have had a recurring unlabeled charge on our account for over $100. The staff could not tell what happened only that it wouldn’t happen the next month. Well, it has happened again. There is no overnight parking for guests by the way. They sprayed concrete protectant without letting residents know that the chemical is hazardous. We lived here for a month before we had a mailbox. Our packages were placed in a room that anyone could go in and most of the time they never even checked IDs. Anyone could’ve taken anything out of that room. When bringing up that concern to the staff, they responded that this is just what happens with new apartment complexes. This is unreasonable. The very least they could do was make sure these packages were being checked out by residents. They also didn’t have fire escape route maps until a month after we had been living here. They also never gave us a map of the complex despite asking multiple times. One of the external doors that leads directly into the building is frequently left propped open despite residents constantly moving the rock they use to prop it open. This is a huge security concern.

Do not live here. The location is very convenient and the amenities are nice but the staff will overcharge you and treat you terribly. Read More
